As the Pre-Production Specialist, you are the key link between Kit & Ace and the Kit and Ace Liaison Office. You are a high-functioning, multi-task professional who understands all aspects of product commercialization. You will succeed by building partnerships with a variety of cross functional teams, reaching our seasonal cost targets and ensuring that we receive top quality products on time and in full purchased quantity.



  • Working closely with the Pre-Production Manager, support a solution oriented and results driven pre-production team in achieving its targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Design, Development, Raw Materials, Tech Design & Quality to support the pre-production process
  • Act as a strong contributor in a solution oriented and results driven pre-production team
  • Facilitate the pre-production process with cross functional teams to meet the Go to Shop deadlines
  • Gather data to analyze costs, order booking timing and quality concerns throughout the pre-production development process; work with the Pre-Production Manager on implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as HKLO, Design, Raw Materials, Technical Design, Buying and Quality to ensure product meets aesthetic, cost, delivery and quality targets
  • Gather and analyze vendor performance, work with Pre-Production Manager to build vendor strategy
  • Gather data, analyze capacity needs, and collaborate with Pre-Production Manager and HKLO to forecast vendor capacity
  • Support POD meetings with cross functional teams
  • Write Purchase Orders, including all updates and revisions
  • Set Up new Vendors
  • Support the resolution of claims, liabilities, dispositions & vendor disputes in an timely and professional manner

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience apparel Sourcing / Production
  • Great sense of humour, positive outlook, empathy and work ethic
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • Great sense of humour, positive outlook, and able to effectively receive and communicate feedback

Working Team: Production team

Works Closely with: All other business departments
