Our Approach to
Sustainability

Versatility in every product means you can buy less pieces, and wear them in more places. Our designs are simple and timeless, for effortless transition across seasons. Our highest priority in choosing fabrics is their ability to be washed and worn over and over and to stand the test of time looking beautiful. Made to Last means less garments are sent to landfills every year.

Our fabrics are subject to independent lab testing for qualities like colourfastness, shrinkage, and material strength, and we then apply real-life wear testing to our finished garments during our production process.

We avoid Dry Clean only fabrics to create pieces you can wash and wear, which has much less impact on the planet. Our use of independent testing and certification organizations ensures the responsible and ethical practices of our fabric suppliers and factories. We source cotton certified by Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), which is an organization that strives to reduce the environmental footprint of cotton farming and certifies the responsible use of water, chemical fertilizers, and pesticides.

All of our vendors are committed to our Stewardship Promise to treat workers fairly, manufacture sustainably, and to comply with safety standards. The health and safety of our overseas partners and our own people is a top priority and we endeavour to maintain the highest standards.

We are proud of these practices, committed to the process of getting better at what we do, and inspired to make clothing that we hope you’ll proudly wear (for a long, long time).
