As the Vice President of Marketing you will work closely with the senior leadership team in developing the Kit and Ace brand and marketing strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of the organization's marketing and brand initiatives. You will have a vital role in the company's growth and have important responsibilities that range from creative influence to business strategy. The position oversees the organization’s branding, digital & traditional marketing, event planning, public relations, and community programs. In addition, you lead, inspire, and motivate the brand and market team and partners to achieve excellence through all brand experiences. As a strategic leader, you engage creative and analytical capabilities to drive brand awareness, traffic, and sales across our channels.

Stratergy: Lead the development of the Kit and Ace brand/Marketing strategies that supports the company's business objectives and drive its execution and optimization. Expand and evolve our vision to amplify optimism.

Execution: Enroll and communicate across department leaders and global partners to champion key initiatives and ensure team business objectives are being met.

Responsibilities:
  • Model the company culture, and exemplify our shared values on a day-to-day basis
  • Lead the Marketing, Brand, Digital and Community Departments in the development and execution of marketing initiatives, communications, events, moments, and campaigns that elevate the Company brand and guest experience
  • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy, and execute a sophisticated marketing plan, while effectively managing brand and reputational risk, to ensure the internal and external brand is optimally aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives i.e. Fuel the joy
  • Conduct thorough analysis on marketing ROI and successfully develop cost effective solutions
  • Develop and implement the organization's multi-channel, multi-segment marketing campaign based on industry-leading insight
  • Expand, develop, and maintain media relationships to create a positive external and internal image associated with brand recognition
  • Accountable for brand and marketing budget, marketing calendar, and overall performance
  • Ensure that the brand and marketing team is consistently delivering brand and marketing material on time to meet all marketing calendar expectations and timelines
  • Develop brand and market strategies that increase brand awareness, and drive traffic across all channels
  • Lead, define and develop international market entry strategies i.e., USA
  • Lead the development of community initiatives and tools that drive traffic, awareness, and sales
  • Partner with all stakeholders to ensure adoption and consistency of brand guidelines across all departments and channels
  • Identify key brand performance indicators and hold team accountable to their results
  • Analyze results and adjust tactics to optimize team and business performance
  • Be a strategic leader by identifying problems, seeking solutions, and outlining key company objectives
  • Establish operational objectives and work plans based on company intentions
  • Recommend changes to critical policies and establish new processes
  • Work in constant partnership with the Head of Product to ensure business objectives and sales goals are being met
  • Model the company culture, and exemplify our shared values on a day-to-day basis

Competencies:
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in apparel or lifestyle brand
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Marketing, Communication, or revevant field
  • Strong analytical and marketing forecasting skills
  • Proven ominichannel marketing experience
  • Ability to maintain composure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable to change and able to work closely with team, requiring a confident, ‘can do’ attitude to your work
  • Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectation of self and team
  • Great sense of humour, positive outlook, and able to effectively receive and communicate feedback in the movement
  • Entrepreneurial, egoless, adaptable, open to possibility and personal development

Working Team: Brand and Ecommerce Team
Works Closely with: Product, Finance, Ecoommerce, Retail, Brand & Logistics Team
