I am between sizes (5 lbs over my normal weight) and ordered a medium (which is my usual size) hoping they wouldn't be too tight at the waist. Although they are a little snug at the waist they are fine on the hips and definitely wearable. They will be perfect at my normal weight. I am glad I didn't size up because these pants hit the ground on me and have lots of room in the leg area. Like another reviewer, I prefer mid-drift waists, not high waists and these pants can be worn either way.
I ordered black and these pants are a rich dark black, which is just what I wanted.
These are beautiful pants and I'm ordering two more pairs for the future in case they aren't made anymore. I hope you keep making them or something similar.

I just got these pants and am loving them! The fabric feels very nice against the skin and they’re the perfect weight for spring/ summer. Sized up for a looser low waisted fit.
