Loved this top so much I got it in black and white. The fabric is hard to explain - it's thin and holds it's shape like a "crisp" shirt but also feels like knit.
I'm normally a L but sized up because I wanted it not completely fitted, and also I was getting the dreaded "between buttons" gap in the chest area. XL fits perfectly.

The shoulder fit is not perfect on me but overall it still looks good and the fabric’s quality is amazing !
