This is Kit and Ace – we make technical apparel for your real life. We take the best principles of athletic performance design and apply them to clothing you can wear all day.

We live, design, fit and test in Vancouver, Canada – a city perfectly suited to our full-contact lives. We are on the go non-stop from 6AM to 10PM. We design clothes that can transition from city to nature, from bike to boardroom, from strategy session to Sunday session. Our Redchurch shop brings a bit of west coast Canada to Shoreditch – a neighbourhood which epitomizes hyper-local and hyperglobal connection and located in one of London’s most diverse and inspiring streets. Our Sorry Coffee Co. bar joins an already impressive list of artisan coffee destinations, and will be open daily to perk our guests up on even the greyest of London mornings. We’re there for gaps in a hectic day to enjoy conversation, caffeine and cashmere.

As an Educator, you are responsible to provide our guests with a world-class experience either on the shop floor or behind the coffee bar. You are able to speak authentically about the quality in our product and the foundation of our culture. You love design.  You value integrity. You don’t take yourself too seriously. 

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully communicates special features, benefits, fabric properties, usage, and best care instructions
  • Maintain knowledge of in-shop stock availability on the sales floor and in backrooms
  • Actively maintain shop appearance, keeping merchandise stocked and organized, while ensuring that the shop is clean and well presented
  • Receives and processes stock from warehouse (Boxes can weigh 10 - 30 lbs) which includes; unpacking, counting, tagging as required, folding, sizing and placing on the floor, with overflow stock in back room and assigned storage areas
  • Develops exceptional product knowledge of Kit and Ace apparel and Sorry Coffee Co. beverages to enhance guest experience
  • Facilitates all coffee shop orders with the utmost quality
  • Assist with re-stocking and pricing duties, including sale preparation as required
  • Ensures items from change rooms are returned to appropriate area - sized and tagged
  • Prepares merchandise for tailoring/alteration as may be required, by completing necessary documentation
  • Completes assigned clean-up duty
  • Utilizes the Point of Sale system, processes payments, refunds and exchanges and issues gift cards
  • Participate in staff training and shop events as scheduled
  • Provides a world-class guest experience by connecting with each guest individually through conversation and real talk, ensuring every guest plans a return visit
  • Builds authentic, lasting relationships with Shop guests, which are nurtured and developed
  • Willingly takes on other duties as directed by Shop Leadership

Works Closely with: Retail Operations, Information Technology (shipping systems) and Brand
