I was looking for a fit and flare black dress with cap sleeves that I could wear in a variety of situations, including dressing up for work, and this fits the bill! It’s very hard to tell from the photos what the fabric is like. The top is ribbed and it’s thick. It is quite stretchy, and I was told by the sales associate that it is meant to be fitted. The fabric on the bottom is like a quick dry fabric, but it still has a very nice drape and shape. It is incredibly light. This would be a great dress for wearing in Europe in the summer or for traveling. I bought it in the black, but I also liked it in the periwinkle and the navy. This is a timeless and classic dress. The fabric is a little nontraditional, but the cut of it makes up for it. I was also worried about the scoop back, but it doesn’t go down as far as it seems to in the photos online.
I am 5’4, 170lbs (heavier on bottom), and got the medium. The Large also worked but was a bit baggy around the chest (and I’m a 36C/D).
